Press Releases Flender FZG Gear Units now available from Bradford
The service applies to the manufacture of four key sizes from the 24-strong FZG range. The sizes (4, 5, 7 and 8) are all split case, hollow bore FZG units, widely used in the quarrying, water and heavy duty materials handling industries. When combined with Siemens eff1 efficiency motors, the FZG provides one of the most efficient gear drives on the market. Flender distribution manager Paul Dudley said: "The FZG gearbox is the powerhouse of Flender's heavy duty gearbox offering, and is a highly efficient, reliable unit. Many configurations can be supplied, and minimum components mean lower maintenance costs too." Flender recently expanded production facilities at its Bradford factory to handle the new service, and introduced new manufacturing techniques. In a move
that will speed up delivery times of its popular FZG helical and bevel
helical gear units, Flender Power Transmission is now able to offer
a UK-wide fast-track service from its West Yorkshire base.
