Press Releases International Quarrying & Recycling Show 2003 Preview FIRST TIME EXHIBITOR FLENDER SHOWS LARGE-SCALE CAPABILITY One of the world's largest power transmission manufacturers, Flender Power Transmission exhibits at Hillhead for the first time, with an extensive range of gear units, geared motors and ATEX compliant couplings for heavy industry. Flender supplies high performing, reliable products for the world's most hostile environments, from quarrying and materials handling to paper-making and power generation. One example is the renowned FZG helical/bevel helical unit, with an excellent torque capacity - in excess of 850,000 Nm - and ratios from 1.25:1 up to 462:1. This rugged unit is found in the world's toughest environments, combining high power capacity with great versatility. Other established Flender products include Motox geared motors and Cavex worm gear units. Flender will also be demonstrating its mobile GearController diagnostic and condition monitoring system.
