Drives and Controls 2002 Exhibition Preview Strong Showing from Flender

Flender Power Transmission attends its third Drives and Controls with a strong showing of both new and established products from its world leading range.

New products include high efficiency Motox geared motors to eff 1 standard, a range that Flender is finding customers cannot get enough of! As Paul Dudley, distribution manager comments:Despite initial confusion about the implications of the Climate Change Levy, companies have been keen for us to help them understand their individual requirements and we are achieving outstanding sales success with our high efficiency geared motors.

Seen for the first time at Drives and Controls 2002 will be braked WEG eff 1 Motox units, now in stock at Flender and one of the only types available in the UK.

Other geared motors at the show will include Motox SC, Flender’s range of worm gear motors and worm gear units. Motox SC units provide high performance and output at economical cost, as well as being reliable, flexible and environmentally friendly.

Motox Master is Flender’s popular range of motor integrated frequency inverters, launched two years ago, with power ranges from .12 to 7.5kW, programmable digital inputs, relay outputs and a host of integrated functions.

Other established products from Flender’s FZG and Cavex series, for applications as diverse as power stations and underground escalators, plus the company’s extensive range of couplings, will also be on the Flender stand (stand D14, Hall 20).

Flender service support has been enhanced considerably in the last year, with additional dedicated personnel available round the clock, as well as extensive design support via Flender CD-ROMS.
