Flender & Siemens link up on Motox Master

Flender Power Transmission has linked up with motion control equipment giant Siemens for its latest product offering

Motox Master is an entirely new range of motor intergrated frequency inverters, comprising Flender geared motor units that incorporates Siemens Micro Master intergrated variable frequency inverters, with power ranges from .12 to 7.5 kW. The units have rebust die-cast aluminium enclosures, with enclosure ratings of IP 65.

Sale director Nick Garthwaite, who officially confirmed the joint agreement with Siemens sales manager Derrick Dyer on Flender's stand at the recent Drives & Controls 2000 exhibition, said:

"This new range of fully intergrated products answers the needs of a wide variety of customers seeking the best quality, reliability and performance. It's a great Flender development, and enhances our position as one of the world's leading power transmission manufacturers."

Digital

Motox Master units feature programmable digital inputs, relay outputs, and a host of intergrated functions. Of particular benefit for customers is that all features are programmable with hand held module or via a PC. This enables parameters to be precisely set and copied to other drives or stored for future reference. Serial communication is also supported via USS Protocol or Profibus DP.
